Serrekunda: market and Batik factory. Length of trip: approx.
4 hours.

Safari tour: Serrekunda market ; Abuko nature park ( monkeys, hyenas)); Lamin Lodge with the possibility of a boat trip through the mangroves, a drink and lunch; Brikama craft market (wood carvings, djembés etc); Paradise beach at Sanyang,; on the way back a visit to the fishing village of Tandjii. Price: D 2500.
Bush trip: via the sand roads to Maryamakunda, Banyaka,
and Juna, perhaps visiting a school and compound on the way; A
stop at Paradise Beach in Sangyang where there is also a restaurant
serving food and drinks. Sometimes there is music and dance performed
by a Group from the Fula tribe . On the way back a stop at the
fishing village of Tanji.

James Island:
A trip across The river Gambia by ferry from Banjul to Barra on
the north bank. From there in 90 minutes to Juffureh. At Juffereh
by wooden boat to the fort on James Island, a former prison camp
for slaves. On the island there is a guided tour around the ruins
of the fort. On returning lunch in the local restaurant and an
opportunity to visit the Slave museum before starting on the return
journey back to the hotel. Price: D.3500

Janjanbureh
Day 1:Via the north bank ( Barra, Farafenni, Wassu Stone circles)
to Janjanbureh with an overnight stay in Janjangbureh-camp.
Day 2: returning along the south bank via Soma to Tendaba Camp.(
possibilities: boat trip through the mangroves, bird watching.
Day 3: back to the hotel. Price: 15.000 D not including overnight

Tendaba Camp
Via the south bank to Tendaba Camp, beautifully situated on the
bank of the river Gambia. One overnight stay with the possibility
